We're here after the installation too. The Precision After Care Centre is where Precision customers across Geelong, the Bellarine and the Surf Coast can find everything they need once their system is in: warranty guidance, owner's manuals, seasonal care tips and ongoing support from the team who installed it. Every Precision installation also comes with membership of the complimentary Precision Service Club, so you'll get a reminder when your next service is due.
A new heating, cooling or hot water system is a big investment. Looking after it properly keeps it running efficiently, protects your warranty and helps you avoid costly breakdowns. Too often, though, manuals end up in a drawer and service dates slip by until something goes wrong.
The After Care Centre makes sure that doesn’t happen. Whether you need to check your warranty, find a manual, look up a controller setting or book your next service, you can come straight back to Precision.
Understand your 6-year Precision workmanship warranty, how it works alongside your manufacturer's warranty, and who to call if something isn't right.
Download manuals and warranty documents for the systems, controllers and thermostats we install most often, from Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Brivis, Braemar, Rinnai and more.

When Precision installs your new system, you’re protected by two separate warranties: one covering our installation workmanship, and one covering the equipment itself.
Your installation workmanship is covered by Precision Plumbing Heating & Cooling for 6 years. This covers the workmanship on the installation carried out by our team. If you have a concern about your installation, or think there may be an issue with our workmanship, contact us and we'll help you with the next steps.
Your equipment is covered separately by the manufacturer's warranty for your product. Manufacturer warranties generally cover eligible faults or failures with the equipment itself and are subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions. Warranty periods and conditions vary between manufacturers and products. You'll find the warranty card or booklet for your product on our Owner's Manuals and Warranty Documents page.
That's okay. Just contact Precision. You don't need to work out whether the issue is with the equipment or the installation before getting in touch. We'll help identify the right next step and, where it applies, help you through the manufacturer's warranty process.
Lost your manual or need to check the warranty on your equipment? We’ve gathered the owner’s manuals and manufacturer warranty documents for the systems, controllers and thermostats we install most often, from Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba, Haier, Brivis, Braemar, Immergas, Rinnai and Honeywell, all in one place.
When Precision installs your system, you’re automatically part of the Precision Service Club. There’s no membership fee and nothing to sign up for. It’s our way of staying in touch after the job is done, so your system keeps running at its best.

Keep the area around your outdoor unit clear of leaves, plants and clutter so it can breathe. Clean the filters as your owner's manual recommends. If your system is blowing weak or warm air, making new noises or showing a fault code, book a service.
Keep return air grilles and floor vents clear of furniture and rugs. Before winter, check the heater fires up properly and heats evenly. If you ever smell gas, don't use the heater. If it's safe to do so, turn off the gas at the meter, open doors and windows, and call us on 03 5221 0052.
Keep radiators free from covers and furniture so heat can move through the room. Look out for cold spots, gurgling noises or fault codes on the boiler or heat pump. These are usually the first signs your system needs attention.
Watch for water pooling around the unit, rusty-coloured water, or hot water running out faster than usual. If you notice any of these, book a service.
Always follow the care instructions in your owner’s manual, and leave anything beyond basic care to a licensed technician.
Each season we share practical advice to help you get the most from your system, from getting your air conditioner ready for a Geelong summer to setting up your heating before the cold hits. Service Club members get these straight to their inbox.
